As someone who is involved in cat rescue, I am always looking for places where I know cats are genuinely loved, respected, and well cared for. The DeLand Cat Café is one of those special places. Debbie is wonderful to work with. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly understands cats and their individual personalities and needs. The cats at the café are exceptionally well cared for, and one of the things I love most is that they are allowed to simply be cats. They have the freedom to play, nap, explore, interact, or just do their own thing. They aren't expected to be anything other than themselves. That makes such a difference, especially for cats who are waiting for their forever homes. They are given a safe, comfortable, enriching environment where they can feel secure and show their true personalities. I have so much respect for Debbie and the work she is doing. The DeLand Cat Café is a wonderful place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves cats, supports rescue, or is looking to adopt a new family member. 🐾❤️ Thank you, Debbie, for creating such a wonderful place for these deserving cats!

My experience to Deland cat cafe was as magical as it was educational! There are so many beautiful and sweet kitties to meet and play with at the cat area, and they even have a separate room to meet young kittens! The cafe is run by local shelter and all the cats there are strays/rescues learning to socialize and live with humans, so don’t be surprised if there are a few kitties who aren’t keen on being pet, talk to them and show them some love from a distance as they are still learning humans are nice! Please go support this beautiful establishment, and if your able, add an addition to your family 🐾

Visited the cafe with some friends, and little did my girlfriend and I know it then, but we'd have one of the cats join our family a week or so later. The cats are tons of fun to play with, and the staff are extremely kind. Debbie in particular was amazing throughout the whole adoption process. Would highly recommend the experience!

I loved this place soo much! Super nice owner she let us know the cats names, told us which ones prefer to be left alone. The cats are the sweetest, very friendly atmosphere! The cappuccino is soo yummy as well, had a great time will definitely be back!

Loved this experience and was the best ever! Do not listen to any negative reviews this place is heaven! Loved it so so much and i will be going back for sure. The price is friendly for those in a tight budget and is perfect for a day out! All of the cats were adorable and i keep in mind if a cat shows that it doesn’t want to be pet, i respect it’s boundaries and leave them be. Im so happy there is a sanctuary near me for rescue kitties to be adopted safely and securely! The woman who helped me and my friend was so kind and super engaging with helping us in. She was teaching us all of their guidelines, showing us around, and telling some of the kitties backstories.
